Exclusive furniture design and manufacture
Rawcliffes designs and crafts furniture from our family owned, Johannesburg based, factory. All of our furniture ranges are exclusive to Rawcliffes and are manufactured in either small run sizes or to order. This ensures the distinctiveness and individuality of the pieces, reflecting that of our clients.
Inhouse Furniture Design
Having our own furniture factory allows us to consult with and supply our clients directly. This makes it possible for us to safeguard the quality from start to finish. Our bespoke furniture is designed and fabricated to our clients’ tastes, needs and aspirations.
Completing your bespoke products and projects should be an easy, stress free experience. Rawcliffes offers an inhouse designer; a highly experienced, qualified craftsman and his team not to mention knowledgeable operations personnel to make the process as smooth and uncomplicated as possible.
We work with interior decorators, designers, project managers, architects and homeowners.

This, we have come to realise, is also partly how we almost effortlessly manage to retain our trademark high quality offering.
Being conscious of deforestation and climate change, our timbers and board are carefully selected from strictly sustainable sources with FSC Certification. We use an oil-based wood finish that is graded low to 0% VOC’s, flame retardant and safe for use on toys and children’s furniture as well as food contact compliance. Our paint finishes and lacquers also have low VOC emissions to ensure low environmental impact.
